Thinking of you as our birthdays approach as it was always fun trading birthday wishes with each other. It has been 18 months since you left us and you are very much missed and remembered by many. Fortunately, with the passage of time has come healing which allows me smile instead of wince when something reminds me of you. I am heartbroken that you’ve left us too early but the good memories and laughs are replacing the tears. My heart is especially warmed anytime I hear the many cello concertos I heard you play. I especially think of you with your “romantic” performance of Elgar’s cello concerto shortly after you and Marie got back together. Since I love pictures as they give us glimpses of life by capturing joy, love, excitement, beauty, and wonder I wanted to share some of my favorites of you. Happy Birthday Dima!
